Easter Sunday

I wanted to just take a moment before posting all the rest of the pictures of my beautiful egg hunter and reflect on the true meaning of Easter. I was looking for a particular verse to add here. I didn't find the one I was wanting, but came across this one that really spoke to me.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. 39 Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

How amazing that Jesus loves us so much that he was willing to die for us. As we celebrate His resurrection on Easter Sunday I think the egg is a perfect symbol for new life. I am thankful for the new life He has given to me. I am thankful for the beautiful daughter he has entrusted to my care. I am thankful for a wonderful husband. I am thankful for all the things He has blessed us with and continues to do so daily.

Now for the festivities:

What a beautiful little girl! She looks so big. Have I been gone that long? You have got to be kidding me that she actually let you put rollers in her hair and keep them there???? What a little sassy pants. So precious. You and Chris look really great too! I love the verse. Isn't he wonderful?

Cute pics! I remember getting ready for Easter like that. I don't remember that last time I got to actually wear a pretty Easter dress, but I do remember the last time I hunted Easter eggs...last year. :)
