Little Sassy Miss

Mckenzee has been hilarious these days. I wanted to give her a post too since Riley has had a few. She has her Daddy completely wrapped around her finger. She runs him ragged in the evenings. The video below is her making him dance with her like on Dancing with the Stars. Before I started the video she was doing lots more hand motions, but of course getting her to perform on camera is a different story. She says "Daddy spin me 'roun." "Daddy run fast me" "Daddy hold me." It's very cute.

She can count to 11 and no longer skips 5 yay! She knows all her colors and shapes. We are going to start her letters soon. I LOVE the preschool age. That is kind of my thing. Chris says he will happily take over in the teenage years and I am SO glad. She loves to paint and color and write in cards for "Vawentine's Day." She loves to put on lipstick. She loves to look through Bibles. I think that is special about her. She gathers up all the Bibles and takes them to her bed or our bed and just goes through them page by page. She is already the BEST big sister ever! I am so proud of that!

She can eat a man sized portion of meat and drinks an insane amount of milk each day. She likes vegetables more than fruits. She doesn't normally like to get her picture taken so I posted a few of those...sometimes I can get a good one though. She's my big girl and still my baby and just so beautiful. I love her so much and she makes me laugh all the time. Boy, is she sassy. I guess I deserve that, but she's also sweet. I am never able to resist her saying "Mommy snu-le me."(snuggle) I have been falling asleep in her bed quite often lately. I just want her to stay 2 for a very long time.

Big Little Dude

My little man had his two month check up yesterday. He got four shots and one oral vaccine. Boy, did he scream. I have never heard him cry like that. He weighed 13 lbs 1 oz and was 24 inches long. He was 80th percentile in weight and 90th percentile in height. What a big boy! We knew he would be. He eats all the time. The doctor asked me his feeding schedule and I replied with, "I don't know." I haven't really kept up with it. If he acts hungry I feed him. Which brings me to the embarrassing moment of our visit. The doctor was trying to include Mckenzee and so she asked her "What does your brother do?" "Does he cry?" Does he eat a lot?" To which Mckenzee replied, "Dah, Mommy's booby," and then she started to lift up my shirt. Oh my goodness, Little Miss.
He is strong. I don't know if he should be sitting in this chair yet, but he likes it.

My sweet little boy! He has gotten so much happier. It looks like his fussy days are over. We have decided to keep him.

Trip to Pflugerville

Last weekend My mom, my sister and I decided to take a trip to Plfugerville to visit my great aunt and uncle. Of course Baby Riley had to come too. He did so well in the car on the way there. He slept the whole three hours it took to get there. On the way back it took 6 hours of stop and go traffic. Everyone was coming home from Spring Break down south. It was such a mess. Baby Riley does not like stop and go traffic. We had a great time and enjoyed some good food during our stay and of course we stopped at Dairy Queen on the way there and back for steak finger country baskets. I LOVE me some steak fingers.
Chris and Kenzee had lots of fun staying home. They had a date at the Omni and went to two different parks.

Here's my baby in the car.

Here's Riley-man taking the best naps at their house. Oh how I LOVE the Sleep Sheep from Cloudb. I love everything from Cloudb.

This is my great Aunt Porky. That isn't really her name and she is a small person, but that's what we call her. For those of you who know me well and are interested....this is my mom's dad's sister. She is such a neat lady. We had so much fun. She is 72, I think, and she can kick butt at pilates. It made me want to come home and get in shape.

Now, earlier I mentioned the long drive back. Sara decided to amuse herself my dancing in her seat and then making up sign language to the songs. After the first one she saw that I had videotaped her and she was like," Are you gonna use that for blackmail??!!!" to which I replied, "No way, I'm just going to post it on my blog." he he good times. So, ladies and gentlemen....mostly ladies, here's my sister Sara dancing in the car for your amusement. Sorry Sara, but not really.

I think she saw me about halfway through this one, but she was bored enough not to care.

Why?

Yesterday I cleaned up my kitchen and living room while both my babies were asleep at the same time. When Kenzee woke up from her nap I said these words....."Hey Kenzee wanna clean out your craft cabinet? She said, "Daaahhh!" That's her version of "Yes" or "Yeah"

Why would I say that?

I still don't know. My kitchen still looks like this:

SICK, SICK, SICK

I have started other posts, but still haven't finished them. We have been so sick this week. It started for me on Sunday morning with a fever, then throwing up. Poor little Kenzee started throwing up yesterday. Bless her little heart, after the first time she said, "Momma, I dit a towel and cean dat up." She is still so hot with fever even after Motrin. I was sick for four days. Needless to say, Daddy has missed some work this week. I just hope she gets better soon and Chris and Riley don't get it.
